With the De Hart Field closed through the end of the year because of the field renovation debacle, the Township is having to go elsewhere for field space this fall.
That means using the south side of Memorial Park for possible soccer night games, a move the Township Committee approved, 4-1, Tuesday night.
The temporary use of lights will cost between $16,000 and $28,000, according to officials, who presented the idea to the TC at last night's meeting. TC Member Marlon Brownlee was the lone vote against the action, citing concerns about the wide range in cost estimates.
