AWESOME DAY OF LIBRARY EVENTS


A great day of events at the library:

Job Hunting Help


July 8, 2013: 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Main Library – Presented by Tony Calabrese, this program will help you determine what kind of work to pursue and what work environment best suits your personality by examining the pluses and minuses of previous job experiences.  Free and open to the public
 Marvelous Mondays
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
Drop into Hilton Branch Library on Monday mornings during the Summer Reading Club and do a craft…..dino rubbings, sidewalk chalk, beading and lots more.  Get a prize for attending the program and have fun doing the craft!!
Teens Reading to Kids
July 8, 2013: 3:30 pm - 5 p.m. ( Repeating Weekly on Mon, until July 29, 2013 )
Join other teen volunteers to read a picture book to kids ages 4 to 9. Teens arrive at 3:30 to prepare for a 4:00 storytime.
 Teen volunteers will read aloud to kids. A fun opportunity for kids to hear some good stories and for teens to help out in the community. Teens should e-mail teens@maplewoodlibrary.org to sign up to read.
Family Lego Night
July 8, 2013: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm ( Repeating Weekly on Mon, until July 29, 2013 )
Mondays @ 7pm:  7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29
Families are welcome to drop by Main Library and make their own Lego® creation.  A fun way to relax and spend time together.  Children must be with an adult.
