TUSCAN PARENTS TAKE THEIR CONCERNS TO THE SCHOOL BOARD

More than a dozen parents showed up at Monday night's Board of Education meeting to voice their displeasure again with the security breach caused by the NBC News reporter who was able to gain access to Tuscan School several weeks ago.

Parents offered concern with the lack of uniformed security and urged ideas ranging from a full-time security guard at each school to new doors installed.

Several also blamed Principal Malikah Majeed, who has shown arrogance and poor management on this and other safety issues. She was also at the meeting, but did not speak up, choosing instead to sit in the back.

See their views below, followed by a response from Superintendent Brian Osborne. He did not offer specific changes to be made yet, but vowed that they will occur.
