A look at the New Rochelle, N.Y., school district where Superintendent Brian Osborne is heading finds it has nearly twice as many students, with 10,889, compared to our 6,689 and a district budget topping $245 million, compared to our $113 million annual spending plan.
One can presume this means a larger salary, especially after the state superintendent salary cap cut Osborne's SOMA pay from about $220,000 down to around $175,000.
Also, below is the announcement from New Rochelle's school board.
