COLUMBIA FOOTBALL GETS FIRST WIN!

LIVINGSTON, NJ - Jimmy Martinez scored two touchdowns to lead Columbia to a 16-7 victory over Livingston in football on Friday night.

Livingston High School paid tribute to its senior football players in the annual senior night.

The game was scoreless until 4:36 left in the third quarter when Martinez ran for a 21-yard TD. Aidan Kelly of Livingston set up a touchdown moments later with a 55-yard run, and pounded it into the end zone from 1 yard out. But Martinez scored again, this time from 8 yards away, in the fourth quarter with 5:50 left for a 14-7 Columbia lead.

Columbia recorded a safety on a sack in the end zone late in the game.
Columbia is 1-7. Livingston is 3-5.
