MAPLEWOODIAN OF THE YEAR: ELIZABETH AARON

Since Elizabeth Aaron took over the reins at Columbia High School as principal more than a year ago, she has had a major impact.

Both students and parents praise her dedication, leadership, tough love, and school spirit.

From promoting and attending athletic events, student performances and competitions to handling tough challenges that have arisen in the past 16 months or so, Aaron has displayed her abilities and care for our high school and its students.

She is also a great Maplewood resident, neighbor and mother.

For this she is our Maplewoodian of the Year.

Aaron is the second recipient of the award, which went to Zach Doubek last year.

Join us in offering her congratulations and continuing to support her efforts in and out of the high school.
