FALLEN TREE SUSPENDS AND DELAYS NJ TRANSIT SERVICE THROUGH MAPLEWOOD

A fallen tree on the Gladstone branch near Morris Plains caused a service suspension on NJ Transit that included service through Maplewood this morning, according to NJ Transit. 

The service has been restored, but is subject to up to an hour delay. 

See the NJ Transit notices below:

M&E service has been restored & is subject to up to 60 min. delays in both directions due to an earlier fallen tree on overhead wires at Morris Plains.
Gladstone service remains suspended in both directions due to a fallen tree on overhead wires at Bernardsville.
NJT rail tickets/ passes are being cross-honored with Lakeland bus and private carriers.
