From Cub Scout Pack 3:
Maplewood Cub Scout Pack 3 is holding its
annual model rocket launch today
on the baseball fields in Maplewood
Memorial Park.
Scouts will be blasting off model rockets
they have made from 10am to12 noon.
Aspiring scouts are welcome to come see
the launches and maybe even give a rocket a try themselves.
(Rain date: June 17th)
Pack 3's Cub Scouts are in first through
fifth grades and live in Maplewood, South
Orange and surrounding towns. Our Pack
program is full of fun and adventure for boys
and their families.We go tent camping,
build rockets, race model cars, have museum
sleepovers, and a variety of other activities
that help Scouts build character, learn new skills,
and make new friends.
Parents and leaders from our pack will be on hand to talk with
interested families about our cub scouting program, and enroll
new scouts for the fall.
