ST. JAMES GATE ASSAULT INCIDENT IN COURT TODAY

St. James Gate Bartender James Meade and customer Ethan Kresofsky are set to meet in court today in Bloomfield to answer cross-complaints stemming from a Jan. 7 incident at the bar that involved an alleged scuffle between the two.

Kresofsky has said in a complaint that Meade assaulted him and later claimed he used an anti-gay slur. Meade has filed a counter claim alleging he was injured by Kresofsky in the incident.

The case was moved to Bloomfield due to a conflict involving the Maplewood Municipal Court judge.
