The squad says it isn't getting the support it needs from the township, and is having trouble staying open due to a lack of money, old equipment and a shortage of volunteers.
Some squad members say they are not willing to give up what they have built so far, so they go about their work with positive attitudes and determination.
"I love this job," said Igor Lyulev, a certified EMT. "We talk, we train, and we go out on calls. I love the environment with all my heart, but we could use some help because we are doing this out of the kindness of our hearts."
