FIRE INSPECTORS FIND SAFETY HAZARDS AT TUSCAN SCHOOL

Our recent complaints about poor clearing of pathways near Tuscan School from the last snowstorm last week apparently got some response from the Fire Department, and it was not good news.

Fire inspectors came to the school last Friday after several complaints and found that the lack of access due to snow and ice was a safety hazard, Fire Chief Michael Dingelstedt told Maplewoodian.com.

Principal Malikah Majeed, who had not responded to parental complaints, was informed by fire inspectors that several areas around the portable classrooms needed to have snow and ice removed and was reminded that all exit areas must be kept clear.

Another sign that this principal who shows arrogance and ignores parental concerns is now putting children at risk with her poor management.

The chief also noted that similar inspectors went to all other schools in the district this week and found no similar problems.
