SPECIAL CAMERON FIELD CHS NIGHT A SMASH

It was a fun Saturday night at Cameron Field in South Orange -- known in part for its historic exhibition game that included Yankee greats Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth back in 1929.

Last night it was Columbia High School taking on Montclair in a festive atmosphere that saw lots of fans, food and fun.

The Cougars played hard in the tough, 2-1, loss, but showed a lot of grit and fight.

They remain on the winning side with an 8-5 record and their next game at Belleville on Wednesday
