MAPLEWOOD REC DEPT BAD NEWS

Just got this notice from the township rec department:

Maplewood Recreation Facility Update
Please be advised that Hurricane Irene left a significant mark on the parks & facilities.
We are doing the best we can to rectify these issues, but it will be a few weeks before everything is corrected.
For your information, please note the following:
 Closed until further notice:
            Memorial Park Field #3
            Memorial Park Baseball Field
            Maplecrest Field #1

Memorial Park Tennis Courts should be avoided as they have a considerable amount of sand and grit on them and can be very slippery.
Playgrounds have had some significant removal of wood chips from the flooding, so please use with caution.

The rest of our facilities are open, but there are still some issues with tree limbs and debris, so again please look at the status of each facility before you use it.

Thank you for you attention to this matter.
