TUSCAN SCHOOL OPEN WEDNESDAY

This letter below from Tuscan principal Malikah Majeed:

Still no word on Maplewood Middle School and Clinton School, both of which were closed as well Tuesday.

Dear Tuscan Families and Staff,

I am delighted to share the good news that power has been restored to Tuscan School! Students and staff should report to Tuscan at the normal arrival time tomorrow, Wednesday November 7, 2012.

Getting to School Safely

SOMSD requests that all adults in the community assist children in getting to school. Parents should stay in custody of their children all the way to school and pick students up at the end of the school day. Please do not let your child walk alone.

Schedule for Week of November 5-9

Wednesday: All open schools will have a full day session on Wednesday, November 7, as previously scheduled.
Thursday:    All open schools will have full day sessions on Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9, as the previously scheduled annual teacher convention has been canceled.
Friday:          All open schools will have full day sessions on Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9, as the previously scheduled annual teacher convention has been canceled.

Revised school lunch menus, including the days previously scheduled to be closed, are available:http://www.somsd.k12.nj.us/somsd/lib/somsd/November_menus_2012.pdf

Please help spread the good news as many families remain without power.

I look forward to seeing everyone back at Tuscan tomorrow!

Malikah Majeed
Principal
