ARMED ROBBERY, BURGLARY AND AUTO THEFT MARK POLICE WEEK

November 12, 2012

November 5, 2012, Theft from Vehicle;  During the overnight hours two vehicles on 

Boyden Parkway and one vehicle on Boyden Ave were entered and items were removed. 

A GPS, tools and credit cards were taken.

November 7, 2012, Robbery, On 11/08/12, Detectives responded to Newark Police 

Department on a report of armed robbery that took place on Irvington Ave the day before.  

While walking on Irvington Ave, the twenty year old female from Newark was approached 

by a male wearing a ski mask, a handgun was displayed and an iphone was taken 

from the victim.  The actor then crossed the street and was seen entering a black Cadillac 

Escalade which drove into Newark.

November 8, 2012, Burglary, A Boyden Parkway residence was entered and an xbox 

taken between 9AM and 1 PM. The resident found the apartment door open and damaged.

November 11, 2012, Motor Vehicle Theft, During the overnight hours a Jeep Cherokee 

was stolen from the driveway of a Beach St residence.
