MAPLEWOODIANS OF THE WEEK: POST OFFICE DEVELOPMENT CRITICS

The Maplewood Village Post Office development has drawn harsh criticism for its over-sized impact on the Village and its recent increases in size -- as well as plans for the developers to receive likely tax abatements and an exemption from affordable housing requirements.

It received more criticism from several residents who showed up at Tuesday's Township Committee meeting to complain about the plans, while Planning Board Chair Tom Carlson also sent a harsh note to the TC citing concerns about the project.
