We reported Monday night that the school board had appointed Dara Gronau as the new principal of Maplewood Middle School, choosing her to replace Jerrill Adams who resigned in June.
Gronau, a 1998 Columbia High School graduate, has also worked in Newark and Ridgewood schools. Among her previous posts was principal of Newark's West Side High School and supervisor of English for grades 6-12 in Ridgewood.
