POLICE CHIEF ON PREVENTING BREAK-INS AND OUTSIDE CRIMINALS

During Friday's public safety press event at Town Hall, I asked Police Chief Robert Cimino how the police can prevent crimes that occur inside a home or office, as with the home invasion and the beating of a church employee, as opposed to crimes on the street.


He answered below:








I later noted that most criminals who are arrested for serious crimes in Maplewood come from outside the township and asked how they can be prevented from coming into town to commit such offenses.
