CHS FOOTBALL STAGES GREAT LATE COMEBACK

Columbia High came back from a 14-point deficit in the 4th quarter to beat West Orange, 30-28, on the road Saturday. Nice heart and way to erase a three-game skid.

Columbia erased a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter, rallying to defeat West Orange, 30-28, yesterday in West Orange.
Down, 28-14, Deion Hudson hit Manny Grant for a 53-yard touchdown pass. Kenneth Antwi's conversion run made it 28-22.
Willie Malone then tied the game on a 2-yard run, with Hudson hitting Tyshawn Thomas with a conversion pass to give Columbia the lead.
Hudson went 16-of-24 for 200 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Grant had six catches for 114 yards and three scores.
Irvin Paye carried the ball 29 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns for West Orange, which led, 14-6, at halftime. Justin McNeil went 5-of-16 for 98 yards, a touchdown, and an interception for West Orange.
