Northern NJ Professionals in Transition will meet twice in June at the Maplewood Library, 51 Baker Street in Maplewood, NJ. On June 3rd, from 10 A.M. to 12 noon, Terrence Seamon will be giving a presentation called “To Your Success” (which was also the name of his first book). Here's a description of it: “Today's smart transitioners utilize the latest applied social science research on change and success. In this brief talk, Terrence will share some of the practical findings of this research, including the power of specific goals, being very realistic in assessing roadblocks, and creating effective support mechanisms.” Mr. Seamon is a leadership development consultant and coach based in New Brunswick, with many clients throughout the state of NJ. His second book, “Lead the Way,” reflects some of the things he teaches his clients. His forthcoming book, “Change for the Better,” will reflect some of his ideas on managing change, both personal and organizational. Terrence Seamon is active on the web with a presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. He is an examiner who writes about job search (www.examiner.com/user-thseamon). He writes several blogs, including one on job search and transition (netthrowers.blogspot.com/). He publishes several daily e-newspapers via paper.li, including one on career success (paper.li/tseamon/careersuccessexperts). Terrence shares this with us: "Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." — John Wooden |
