WATER QUALITY BULLETIN

This from the Township today:

Water Quality Update from NJ American Water

New Jersey American Water is running required tests of the system at its Canoe Brook Water Treatment Plant in Millburn.
During testing, water velocity from the plant has been increased and may stir up sediment in our distribution system. Customers in Maplewood, Millburn, Livingston and West Orange may experience discolored water.
New Jersey American Water is flushing fire hydrants to restore normal water quality. The testing is expected to be completed by late afternoon on Friday, June 28. Customers with discolored water should run their taps for a few minutes until clear.
