The Maplewood Recreation Dept. in collaboration with YouthNet (a local non-profit serving the teen community of Maplewood and So. Orange- somayouthnet.org) and The Municipal Alliance; is holding its first ever concert under the Springfield Ave gazebo (at the Hilton branch library). Come out June 1st and enjoy live music from Jersey’s growing sensation, M.O.A., from 6pm to 8pm! Don’t miss the opportunity to “VYBE” with teens while seizing the chance to do so as a community!
Music Over All (M.O.A) is a Hip Hop group, initially inspired in 2010. Since founding, the music group is now composed of four rappers, one vocalist, a DJ and one graphic designer. All current M.O.A. Maplewood/ South Orange residents are active members of YouthNets, Youth Advisory Board (YAB), part of the local non profit that fosters involvement in community activities and gives the teen population in the two towns an opportunity to voice there ideas, and bring them to reality.

As of late, M.O.A. is ever growing & gaining recognition for their talents. After multiple successful YouthNet Coffee House performances at the South Orange Baird Community Center, and Dehart Center, - booking their own shows, to opening for the esteem Platinum selling artist "Foxy Brown", M.O.A. and their YouTube hits continue to rack in thousands and thousands of views. With their hit single “Hardwork,” bringing in 30,000 views.
8bit will also be playing- 8-bit is a CHS band, and has played in the past at YouthNet coffeehouses. They play originals and covers of the indie rock favorites.
