MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The HK Project, a local philanthropic organization that serves Maplewood and South Orange, is collecting funds to assist the Harry and Noel families to cover the funeral costs for Tamir Harry and Kervin Noel who were killed on Tuesday night in an automobile collision at the corner of Essex Avenue and Fourth Street.
“We all want to help these grieving families and while providing financial assistance doesn't feel like enough (we want to do more), reducing the anxiety and stress by relieving these families of the financial burden does help them focus on mourning and healing. Please help if you can,” said a prepared statement issued by HK Project.
To donate online please visit http://www.hkproject.org/donate and click on the HK CARE donate button. At the end of the PayPal process you will have an ability to add special instructions. Click on that link and type "Essex Avenue" if you want you donation to be split 50/50 between the two families. If you want to have your donation be allocated in a way other than 50/50 please state your preference in the special instructions box.
