From Maplewood Police today:
May 7, 2014; Robbery; At approximately 11 PM, a pedestrian
walking on Broadview Ave was approached from behind and knocked to the
ground by two males in their late teens or early 20’s. One of the males then
displayed a handgun while the other male took the victims laptop, bag and
cell phone. Both male then fled on Overlook Ter towards Union. The victim
was not injured.
May 8, 2014; Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle; During the overnight hours an
Audi parked in a driveway on Irvington Ave sustained damage to it’s door lock
and ignition.
May 10, 2014; Burglary; Between 11 AM and 4 PM entry was forced to a home
on Van Ness Ter. It is unknown what was taken at the time of the report.
