OUR ASSEMBLYMAN'S STUPID IDEA

Assemblyman John McKeon
This could be one of the more ridiculous legislative ideas in New Jersey, a state known for corrupt and useless legislators. And it took our own assemblyman, John McKeon, to do it,

McKeon, who represents Maplewood and other towns in the 27th state legislative district, is proposing a "Half-Valentine's Day." His argument: it's too cold in February, when the real Valentine's Day is celebrated.

As per his proposal, he would seek to designate Aug. 14 as "Half-Valentine's Day." With all of the other problems our state has with property taxes, unpaid Sandy relief and other issues, this is what takes up their time.
