ARMED ROBBERY AND TWO BURGLARIES MARK POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police today:

February 7, 2014; Burglary: At approximately 1 PM, patrols 
responded to an alarm activation at a home on Jacoby St. 
Upon their arrival, the home was found to have been entered. 
The homeowner responded to the scene but reported that 
nothing appeared to be missing.  

February 7, 2014; Burglary:  A resident of Ball Pl returned home after being out 
all day and found that their home had been burglarized.  Jewelry was reported 
stolen.

February 7, 2014; Robbery: At approximately 0930 PM, an two adult male were 
sitting in their vehicle after exiting a barber shop on Springfield Ave.  They 
were approached by a male wearing a mask and displaying a handgun.  He demanded 
their money and then fled West on Springfield Ave with their money.  He was 
observed entering a vehicle and fleeing towards Laurel Ave in Union.  No one was 
injured during this incident.
