CONGRESSMAN PAYNE'S OFFICE LAUNCHES MAPLEWOOD POSTAL DELIVERY INQUIRY

After receiving numerous complaints from Maplewood residents about postal delivery delays and days without mail delivery,  Rep. Donald Payne Jr's office has launched its own inquiry into the issue, a spokesman told Maplewoodian.com.

“He is looking into it because we have had a lot of calls into the office, complaints, " the spokesperson said. “It looks like it is just Maplewood so we are trying to figure out why. We called into the regional office and Northern New Jersey district office of the postal service."

Problems continued Tuesday as many, like us, received mail after dinner and others still have not received it.

Payne's office added that complaints date back to January. Anyone wishing to register their own concerns can call Payne's office at 973-645-3213.
