PLANNING FOR DIFFICULT FAMILY DECISIONS SEMINAR TONIGHT

An Anna's Angels Community Conversation

Anna's Story is a twenty-two minute dramatic video which enacts what can happen to anyone who takes an unwanted journey through the medical system. In spite of receiving appropriate clinical care, what happens to Anna is clearly not what she wanted.

After screening the video, the audience gets to reflect on what happens to Anna, her family and the clinicians who care for her. Anna's Angels, a group of Atlantic Health System nurses and health care professionals will: Help you to navigate what you need to know

Coach you on how to have important conversations with your loved ones and doctors

Teach you how to prepare the documents that help you, your family/friends and clinicians take the best care of you in the ways that are in keeping with your wishes and best interests.

Presented by Sharon Burniston, a resident of Maplewood, and the palliative care chaplain at Overlook Medical Center in Summit

7:00 pm at Main Library
