MEMORIAL BENCH DESTRUCTION ISSUE CONTINUES

Tom Kerns, one of the Maplewoodstock organizers and Maplewood Public Works Director Eric Burbank have weighed in on the memorial bench situation with these comments on MOL.

  • Folks

This is being taken care of. The appropriate people in town were notified as soon as it happened. I am not involved in the process, but I am a member of the Maplewoodstock committee and we were informed that this unfortunate accident is being rectified. I just may take a little time.

  • The responsible party is going to take care of paying for it. We were notified by them as soon as it happened. We have contacted the company that made the bench and they were scheduled to come out and look at it to see if they could repair it. We will be following up on Monday with the company to see what the status is.
