From the Township today:
The Township of Maplewood is proud to introduce a customized Mobile App for Township residents using Apple and Android devices.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Township Committee
understood the need to communicate with residents using smart phones. As
a result of power outages, many residents did not have access to
desktop or laptop computers. The smart phones became essential for
communicating news, hours of operation and other emergency information.
In an effort to improve communication between the Township and its
residents, the Township of Maplewood contracted the services of
CivicPlus to develop a customized Mobile App. The app is now available
for download, free of charge, to all Township residents in the iTunes store and Google market place.
The Mobile App will facilitate access to Township information. Any
content posted on the website will automatically become available
through the App. Residents will have access to Township news, alerts,
event information and more. In addition, residents will be able to make
reservation requests for fields in the parks, submit service requests,
and review information pertaining to Township facilities; including
hours of operation, contact information and directions.
To download, search “Maplewood NJ” in the App store or Google market. Register your information to begin receiving news, alerts and other information.
