You can't criticize Columbia High School principal Elizabeth Aaron for lack of communication, or much else these days.
The rookie principal, who has done a superb job steering the high school through some rough waters, sent out three versions of the notice to would-be 9th grade parents this week inviting them to tonight's parents night for incoming freshman.
One in English, one in Spanish and the last in, of course, Haitian Creole.
Given that much of the criticism of the district for years has been a lack of communication, Aaron's approach is most welcome.

us next Wednesday, November 19th at CHS for a preview of 9th grade and
an introduction to Columbia High School.
Doors open at 6:40 and
the evening begins promptly at 7. We look forward to introducing you to
the academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities that await
your student at CHS.
