BAKER UNANIMOUSLY CHOSEN FOR SECOND YEAR AS SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT

School Board President Elizabeth Baker was unanimously chosen to serve another year at the helm at Wednesday night's school board reorganization meeting.

Baker, who is still in her first term on the board, was the only nominee for the post, which she won in a 7-0 vote, with board member Madhu Pai absent and Johanna Wright abstaining.

Newly elected board member Susie Adamson, meanwhile, was formally sworn into the post she won in November, replacing retiring member Beth Daugherty.
