We wanted to share some of our January offerings so you get a chance to register and join the fun.
NEW SELF-DEFENSE AND SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR AGES 5-15
Wednesdays from January 18 through March 29 at The Woodland
students ages 5-8 from 5pm to 5:40pm
students ages 9+ from 5:50pm to 6:30pm
REGISTRATION FEE: $120 for 11 weeks
This program is designed to enhance
self-esteem, self-discipline and safety awareness! Students are placed
into classes according to age and ability. Self-discipline and defense,
rather than aggressiveness are emphasized throughout the course.
Weekly safety flyers focus on a wide range of topics including stranger,
fire and home safety. The dangers of bullying and how to deal with
peer pressure is also an important part of the program.
Uniforms are highly recommended and available for sale at the first class and throughout the course.
ZUMBA IN THE CIRCUIT FOR AGES 55+
You’ve probably heard about the new instructor and Zumba program we are offering at 106 Burnett.
Zumba in the Circuit combines signature
Zumba moves and with optional light weight activities. We focus on
toning, cardio and dance to get you moving and having fun.
THURSDAYS 9:30am – 10:30am
Join us this coming Thursday through March 9th for $30 resident fee, and $48 non-residents
Bring comfortable sneakers, water and an open mind.
WE ARE OFFERING A NEW VISIT A MUSEUM A MONTH PROGRAM FOR THE 55+ CREW AS WELL

Newark Museum & Tony DaCaneca’s for lunch
$44 includes museum, transportation and lunch. [bus departs promptly at 10am].
We will be taking the Highlight Tour
which gives us a little taste of the museum has to offer and then lunch
at one of the delicious Portuguese restaurants Newark is famous for.
