August 8, 2012 Robbery; At 911 PM an employee of the Denco Gas Station on Springfield Ave contacted the police to report a robbery in progress. The actor entered the building holding a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The employee and actor then became involved in a struggle and a second employee contacted the police department. Officers responded to the scene and were able to take the actor into custody on scene. The actor was identified as 55 year old, Keith Reaves ofOswald Pl, Vauxhall NJ. He was charged with robbery, weapons possession, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Judge Rosenbluth set bail at $250,000 full and the actor was remanded to Essex County Correctional Facility.
August 9, 2012 Robbery;At approximately 3 PM, a juvenile walked into Maplewood PD Headquarters and reported that three male juveniles had just robbed him inMaplecrest Park. The actors approached him and demanded money. When he turned over $15, the actors left the park. While looking for the actors a second robbery was reported with the same actor description on Elmwood Ave near Brookwood Rd. Again a juvenile was approached and turned over money. Three juveniles fitting the description of the group were located on Clinton Ave in Irvington by Capt. Perna. Two of the three were detained by him and Officer Bailey. The third individual ran from officers when they attempted to stop him. Sgt. Lenzo, Sgt. Sally and Officer Kelly engaged in a foot pursuit with the juvenile and were able to take him into custody after running through several backyards. The juvenile that ran was identified by the victims as the actor and was arrested and charged with robbery and resisting arrest.

August 7, 2012 Burglary; A Oakland Rd resident reports that sometime during the daytime a screen to an open window was cut and an entry was gained to the home. Electronics were reported missing from the home.
August 8, 2012 Motor Vehicle Theft; A male entered Richards Service Station on Springfield Ave and asked to see a vehicle that was for sale. An employee handed over the keys to the vehicle. The employee then became distracted by another customer and the actor drove off in the vehicle.
