NEWS-RECORD EDITOR LEAVING

Christina Hernandez, who has served as managing editor of the News-Record for more than two years, is leaving her post as of Friday.

She sent the news in an email today:

I regret to inform you that the News-Record will be needing a new editor, as my last day is Friday.

It was a pleasure working with you, and I hope you continue submitting great material to and remain a reader of our newspaper.

At this moment, a permanent replacement has not been hired, but there will be someone to fill the editor position temporarily effective Friday. Emails will be checked periodically, and individuals with any questions can call 908-686-7700 to speak with someone in editorial.

Best wishes,
Christina Hernandez

So far, no replacement is named. Hernandez, a welcomed guest to our podcasts, said she is turning to the world of Manhattan corporate communications.

Good luck!
