South Orange/Maplewood is hosting the Northern NJ 13U Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament. The preliminary rounds are completed and our own Cougars are moving on to the semi-finals!
Come and cheer them on!
The semi-finals (2 games) will be played tonight at Cameron Field (next to Baird Center).
Game 1, 5:30 pm: Basking Ridge vs. Millburn
Game 2, 8:00 pm: South Orange/Maplewood vs. Bayonne
Game 2, 8:00 pm: South Orange/Maplewood vs. Bayonne
The winners will play in the championship game on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30 pm.

By the way, the 9U Cougar team is also on its own run, winning a spot in the summer league playoffs that begin tonight in South Orange while also battling in the Cal Ripkin League state tournament playoffs that continue Wednesday night in South Plainfield.

Hey Joe,
Please report about the U9 BlackTeam that won their division.. We lost in the first playoff game against a tough Ridge team but we are proud of their accomplishment.
