SCHOOLS SUPE CLOSER TO NEW JOB, BLAME GOV. CHRISTIE FOR HIS POSSIBLE DEPARTURE

Schools Superintendent Brian Osborne, who is one of two finalists for a new job in Ann Arbor, Mich., answered questions from that district's board of education and parents Wednesday night in his final review. He had also spent the day touring the district and meeting with locals.

Osborne even laid out a 90-day plan for his first months in the new job, posted HERE.

His interviews come just days after the SO-M Board of Education voted to give him a bonus that will bring his salary for this year up from $208,000 to $221,000.

But, if you want to know why he is likely to leave it is because state law under Gov. Chris Christie's new superintendent salary cap will cut Osborne's salary to $167,000 next year.
