You may recall the issue got heated at the last meeting in early October, when Mayor De Luca said to a Daibes representative, "Your not the type of developer I want to work with," and added the site was "an eyesore" after delays of more than a year. See that HERE.
But De Luca said at Monday's meeting that the developer had satisfied the requirements so far after more than a year of delays.
The original plan called for a mixed-use residential and commercial building with a two-story development of 5,275-square-feet of retail space on the first floor and six apartments on the second floor, with 15 parking spaces. Construction is set to begin again next week.
