Hilton Health Insurance: Come In…Get Covered

12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Open enrollment for insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act  runs from November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015.  Trained in-person assisters will help you find a plan to fit your budget—one that covers emergencies, doctor visits, prescriptions, hospitalization and maternity care and pre-existing conditions.

  • Social Security Numbers for all household members(or immigration documents)
  • Employer and income information for every member of your household who needs coverage (from pay stubs or W-2 forms)
  • Current health insurance plan information for everyone in the household

Hilton Branch – Ages 4-104 – Come to the computer lab and try the first step in learning to code….using code.org’s website. Join the largest learning event in history when thousands of students worldwide celebrate Computer Science Education Week.

Salvage Style

7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Main Library – Amy Hughes, owner of Salvage Style on Baker St. and author of the book Salvage Style Projects, will talk about architectural salvage, home design and renovation, and the projects in her book.  Amy will share tips about using vintage furnishings to create a more personal, stylish, and inviting home, and she’ll take us step-by-step through a fun DIY project. Prepare to be inspired!
A seasoned DIYer with an eye for bargains, Amy is a longtime magazine editor and writer and is currently a contributing editor at This Old House. She also runs a design consulting business.
