MAPLEWOODIAN OF THE WEEK: MAYOR VIC DE LUCA

Mayor Vic De Luca was out and about all last week. First at the Planning Board meeting on Tuesday for the new post office plan, then at a Thursday meeting with some residents and the new proprietor of the planned wine store in the former Santander Bank.

He also had his regular monthly office hours at Town Hall on Tuesday.

We later caught up with the mayor at two Springfield Avenue ribbon-cuttings on Saturday. He then attended the official christening of the new Maplecrest Park skate park the same day.

That earns him our Maplewoodian of the Week.
