RENOVATED MEMORIAL PARK TENNIS COURTS DRAW COMPLAINTS

The Township recently re-opened the newly renovated Memorial Park tennis courts, a $219,000 project that was initially sparked by a group of tennis enthusiasts seeking improvements.

But now some tennis players are complaining that the renovation job was done improperly, resulting in some uneven surfaces. Cracks had also appeared, but appear to have been filled in.

Deluca responded to Maplewoodian.com about the complaints, saying via email, "we are on it. A meeting with the construction company is planned."

That meeting is apparently set for today.

Stay tuned!
