TRYOUTS FOR THE MAPLEWOOD-SOUTH ORANGE GIRLS TRAVEL BASKETBALL TEAMS WILL BE HELD THIS WEEK! TRYOUTS ARE OPEN TO ANY GIRL IN GRADES 5-8 WHO IS A RESIDENT OF MAPLEWOOD OR SOUTH ORANGE. TEAMS ARE GRADE SPECIFIC, SO PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR TRYOUT INFORMATION. PRE REGISTRATION IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR THE 5/6 AND 7TH TEAMS AND CAN BE DONE AT: https://register.communitypass.net/maplewood or by calling the recreation department at (973) 763-4202.
TRYOUT DATES, TIMES AND LOCATIONS:
5th and 6th Grade Girls: Tuesday October 21 and Thursday October 23. 6:00pm to 7:30pm at MAPLEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL (pre registration required)
7th Grade Girls: Monday October 20 and Wednesday October 22. 6:00pm to 7:30pm at MAPLEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL (pre registration required)
8th Grade Girls: Tuesday October 21. 7:30pm to 9:00pm at SOUTH ORANGE MIDDLE SCHOOL & Saturday October 25. 9:00am to 10:30am at SOUTH ORANGE MIDDLE SCHOOL. (no pre registration required)
The teams are combined this year and are open to all girls who are residents of Maplewood OR South Orange in grades 5-8.
