STREET AUTO REPAIR LAW TOPS TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE AGENDA TONIGHT

The Township Committee meets tonight and plans to review a proposed ordinance against auto repairs on public streets.

We recently wrote about it and other concerns from the planned Advance Auto Parts store on Springfield Avenue.

The TC also plans to discuss a change in the planned redevelopment of the former PSE&G site on Boyden Avenue, revealing that the original developer has pulled out of the deal and it will be designated for a new developer.

This represents the second such major development pullout in recent weeks after L&M Development withdrew from its agreement to develop the Maplewood Village post office site.

There is now discussion of many families with children moving into Maplewood Crossing. These apartments were actually always designed for families, many 2BR/2BA units. Vic deliberately lied to us when granting them the PILOT, claiming families with children would not be living there en masse and thus crowding the schools without paying any school taxes.
