SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH UPDATE PROVIDED MONDAY NIGHT

During an update on the search for a new schools superintendent Monday night, the Board of Education was told that 33 potential candidates had expressed an interest in the job and more than 700 people had taken part in an online survey seeking input.

See much of the presentation to the board Monday night from Dr. Leroy Nunery of HYA Associates, the firm conducting the search below. He said a "slate of candidates" will be presented November 10 and the final choice will not be made until the new school board is seated in January.
