SUSPECT ARRESTED IN BURGLARIES

From Maplewood Police today:


June 18,2015; Burglary Arrest; Through investigation it was determined that Travis McKoy age 29 of Maplewood was responsible for several incidents in Maplewood. He was taken into custody and charged with two overnight burglaries and defiant trespass. Two of these incidents took place on Oakview Ave and one on Mountainview Ter. He was given a bail of $50,000 which he was able to satisfy with a bond. He was released later the same day.

In other crime news:


June 15, 2015; Recovered Stolen Vehicle; At approximately 3 PM Officer Lareau located a stolen Dodge Caravan on Warren Rd.  The vehicle was parked and unoccupied.  It was found to be stolen out of Irvington.

June 16, 2015; Burglary; Between 7:30 and 11 AM, an apartment to a  multifamily home on Boyden Ave was entered and multiple electronics stolen.


June 17, 2015; Burglary; Between 6 PM and 12:30 AM on 6/18, entry was made to an unsecured rear door of a home on Boyden Ave. A tablet was reported stolen at the time of the report.


June 18, 2015; Burglary; Between midnight and 6:30 AM an improperly secured home on Peach Tree Rd was entered and a purse and two laptops stolen.

June 18, 2015; Bicycle Theft; Sometime over the last four days two bicycles were removed from an unsecured garage on Midland Blvd.
