MAPLEWOODIANS OF THE WEEK: SCHOOL WEAPONS

It's been all the talk in town for the past week and a half: the weapons arrests at Maplewood Middle School and Columbia High School involving students bringing weapons to school.

The concerns reached a new height last Monday when a rare town hall-style meeting was held at MMS to discuss the issue.

All this attention and concern, and prompt response from district and school officials, has earned the weapons our Maplewoodians of the Week.
