LEMBRICH CAMPAIGN FUND NEARED $20,000, RYAN/ADAMS WELL BELOW

Greg Lembrich appears to be the overwhelming leader in campaign spending in the recent Township Committee primary election, raising nearly $20,000 and spending at least $16,000 so far, according to the most recent campaign disclosure reports.

Lembrich, who along with Nancy Adams won the Democratic nomination in the June 2 primary over incumbent Jerry Ryan, raised $19,492.24, according to his most recent disclosure forms. He spent $16,783.33.

That report details finances up to May 27. He will have to file a more updated report by late June.

Most of Lembrich's contributors gave less than $300, so their identities are not required to be revealed. He also loaned himself $10,000.

Ryan and Adams, who ran together and filed a joint campaign disclosure statement, have not revealed their total campaign expenditures or contributions, which by law is not required if they raised less than $4,500. They filed a disclosure statement earlier this year declaring they did not plan to raise more than $4,500.

Ryan and Adams filed a recent statement on individual contributions, which so far totaled $3,820. The biggest contributor to Adams/Ryan was Thomas Kerns, the former head of HK Fund, the one-time local charity, who gave $2,600.

Ryan also loaned the campaign $1,000, according to the report.
