The duo is highlighted as one of several gay couples planning to take advantage of the Friday court ruling allowing same-sex marriage in New Jersey.
The story states:
Davis and Shaffron plan to wed Nov. 8, a date chosen to coincide with a day off from school for their two adopted sons, Jordan, 10, and Benjamin, 12.
“All they’ve ever known is two dads,” Shaffron said. “But they’ve always been puzzled by why we can’t get married. Now, they’re kind of aware of what’s going on, and I think they’d like us to get married.”
