POLICE ARREST MAN AT LIQUOR STORE

Police arrested a man Thursday afternoon at Kasper's Wine & Liquor on Springfield Ave. next to 7-11 near Tuscan Road for allegedly trying to steal a bottle of alcohol, according to witnesses, who said he apparently tried to hide it in a pants leg.

One witness inside the store said he did not see a weapon, but police did take the man into custody.
