The Maplewood Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs and
the Maplewood Pool Committee are sponsoring four free concerts on
Wednesday nights in July. Pool membership is not required.
The
concerts, which will start at 6:30 p.m. today, will continue on July 16, 23 and 30, and are
free and open to the public.
The Jambalaya Band, playing rock, blues and
jazz, will appear on the first Wednesday night.
The country and
fiddllin' music of Western Spur can be heard on July 16th. Swing Town,
Maplewood Community Music's Swing Big Band led by Ben Williams, will
perform on July 23. Dixieland Jazz with Jim Buchanan and Friends will
conclude the series on July 30. Spend a lovely summer evening at the
pool. Refreshments are available for purchase.
